በደላችንንም ይቅር በለን፤

And forgive us our trespasses

እኛም የበደሉንን ይቅር እንደምንል

Egnam Yebedelunin Yikir Endeminil

As we forgive them that trespass against us

አቤቱ ወደ ፈተናም አታግባን

Abetu Wede Fetena Atagban

And lead us not into temptation

ከክፉ ሁሉ አድነን እንጂ

But deliver us from evil.

Eme-bietachin Qidist Dingil Mariam Hoy,

O Holy Virgin Mariam

በመልአኩ በቅዱስ ገብርኤል ሰላምታ ሰላም እልሻለሁ

Be-Mel-aku  Be-qidus  Gabriel Selamta Selam  Elish Alehu

In the peace of the Angel Gabriel, Peace be unto You,

በሃሳብሽ ድንግል ነሽ፣ በሥጋሽም ድንግል ነሽ

Be-hasabishi   dingil   nesh, Be-sigashim   dingil  nesh, 

የአሸናፊ የእግዚአብሔር እናት ሆይ፤ ላንቺ ሰላምታ ይገባል

Ye-Ashenafi   Ye-Egziabhier  Enat Hoy, Selamta  Le-anchi   yigebal,

O, Mother of Perfect God (Omnipotent) Peace be unto thee (you),Peace be unto thee (you),

ከሴቶች ሁሉ ተለይተሽ አንቺ የተባረክሽ ነሽና

Ke-sietoch  hulu   teleyitesh,  anchi yetebarekshi  nesh,

Blessed are thou (you) among women

የማኅፀንሽም ፍሬ የተባረከ ነው

Ye-mahtsenish  friem yetebareke new,

and Blessed is the fruit of thy (your) womb.

ፀጋን የተመላሽ ሆይ ደስ ይበልሽ

Tsegan ye-temelash Hoy, Des  yibelish,

Rejoice, O thou who are full of grace,

እግዚአብሔር ካንቺ ጋር ነውና

Egziabhier  ke-anchi gar newuna

the Lord is with thee. 

ከተወደደው ልጅሽ ከጌታችን ከመድኃኒታችን ከኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ዘንድ ይቅርታን ለምኝልን

Ke tewededew Lijish kegetachin,  Ke-medhanitachin, Ke-Eeyesus Kristos Zend, Yikirtan lemignilin,

Ask and pray for us to thy (your) Beloved Son, Eeyesus Kiristos,

ኃጢአታችንን ያስተሰርይልን ዘንድ አሜን

Hatiatachin, yasteseriyilin zend,  lezel alemu Amen

That he may have mercy upon our souls and forgive us our sins  Amen.
