Hello, my name is Daniel de Caussin, I live here in Dunedin, Florida USA with my wife Martha, and [I have been interfacing with [Melaku Besetegn, I hope I pronounced that correctly, who is a deacon and preacher in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church]  and he asked me to make this video which I am doing now, and he asked me three questions the first question was

1.  How did I become interested in Ge'ez, the second question 

2.  Why do I want to learn keys in the third question is 

3.  What do I know and believe about the Ge'ez language the history of the Ge'ez language.

So I will address those in this short video, the first question is why did I become interested in Ge'ez: it is because my wife and I started reading the book of Henoch and in its various translations we discovered that some translators would add words, subtract words, change the order of the chapters around and verses, just at whatever whim they had at the time.

Many of the people who did these books didn't even believe that the book of Henoch was inspired words of our heavenly father, they believe that "a man" wrote them down at various times throughout history, but we know that this book was specific for us, you and I, for these end times and this, was the desire of Henoch's heart, is that we all would read this and read the words properly,

so what we were inspired to do was to look for the original versions of the book of Henoch which happened to be in Ge'ez, and that's why we became interested in the Ge'ez language,

and we actually have four different versions or four different digital copies of handwritten manuscripts, which we are comparing word by word and letter by letter to see where people had opportunity to add whatever they want it over the years, and some of these manuscripts are from the 1300s and so we are talking many many many years of opportunity to add subtract or wrest the words that were given to Henoch by the angel Uriel.

We also know that Henoch gave his grandson, Noah, the book that he had, and after the flood Noah carried this book through the flood and he later on his grandchildren, Abraham especially came to live with Noah, and Abraham learned this book of Henoch, and learned Ge'ez and was able to read it and actually speak to people in his area in Ge'ez

and the time that from the Dead Sea Scrolls we have it written that Abraham when he went down into Egypt, read the book of Henoch to the people of Egypt, and gained favor because of this reading of the book of Henoch, and I believe that was in Ge'ez, and the Ethiopians have influenced people throughout the Scriptures. Moses married an Ethiopian woman and probably spoke Ge'ez at that time as well, so Ge'ez has an old and very rich history, the book of Henoch was written especially for us, this is why it is important for us to find the original information and present it properly.

የግእዝን ቋንቋ በመማር መጽሐፈ ሄኖክን ወደ እንግሊዘኛ በመተርጎምና ስለ መጽሐፉና ስለ ግእዝ ቋንቋም ልዩ ጥናትን በማካሄድ ላይ የሚገኘው አሜሪካዊው አቶ ዳንኤል ዲ ካሲን የተባለው ስው በእንግሊዘኛ በአውደ ጥናት ካስተላለፈው ቪዲዮ የተተረጎመ ነው። እንግሊዘኛውም አብሮ አለ።

“ ሰላም ስሜ ዳንኤል ዲ ካሲን ይባላል የምኖረው ከባለቤቴ ከማርታ ጋር በአሜሪካ ፍሎሪዳ ውስጥ ዱኔዲን በምትባል ቦታ ነው።

እና በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተክርስቲያን ዲያቆንና ሰባኬ ወንጌል ከሆነው ከመምህር መላኩ አስማማው ጋር (በትክክል ተናግሬው ይሆናል ብየ ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ) ታሪካዊ የመረጃ ልውውጥ ስናደርግ ይህንን አሁን የማደርገውን ቪዲዮ እንዳዘጋጅ ጠየቀኝ እንዲሁም ስለ ግእዝ ቋንቋ ሦስት ጥያቄዎችን ጠየቀኝ

ጥያቄዎቹም ፦

የመጀመሪያው ጥያቄ “ስለ ግእዝ ቋንቋ እንዴ ፍላጎቱ ሊያድርብኝ ቻለ”? የሚል ነበር

2ኛው ጥያቄ ደግሞ “ለምን የግእዝን ቋንቋ መማር እንደምፈልግ”

3ኛው ጥያቄ፡“ስለ ግእዝ ቋንቋ ቅድመ ታሪክና ምንነት የማውቀውና የማምነው ነገር ምንድነው? የሚሉ ናቸው።

ስለዚህ የተጠቀሱትን ሁሉ በዚህ አጭር ቪዲዮ አቀርባቸዋለሁ።

ስለ ግእዝ ቋንቋ እንዴት ፍላጎት ሊያድርብህ ቻለ ለሚለው ለመጀመሪያው ጥያቄ ምክንያቱ እኔና ባለቤቴ መጽሐፈ ሄኖክን ማንበብ ጀመርን፤ እና ብዙ በተለያዩ ሰዎች የተተረጎሙ  ልዩ ልዩ ቅጅዎችን ስንመለከት አንዳንዶቹ ትርጉሞች የቃላት መቀነስ፤ መጨመር፤ የምዕራፍና የቁጥር መዘዋወር ይታይባቸዋል፤ በአጠቃላይ የተዘበራረቁ ናቸው።

እነዚህን ቅጅዎች የተረጎሙ አብዛኛዎቹ ሰዎች መጽሐፉ ከብዙ ዘመናት በፊት በታሪክ ሂደት አንድ የሆነ ሰው የጻፈው እንጂ በእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ መሪነት የተጻፈ የሰማያዊው አባታችን የእግዚአብሔር ቃል መሆኑንም የሚያምኑ አልነበሩም።

ነገር ግን ይህ መጽሐፍ በተለይ ለዚህ ለፍጻሜ ዘመን ለዚህ ጊዜ በቀጥታ ለእኔና ለእናንተ የተሰጠ እንደ ሆነ እናውቃለን፤ ይህም የሆነው እኛ ሁላችን ይንን መጽሐፍ በትክክል እንድናነበው የነቢዩ ሄኖክ የልብ መሻት ስለሆነ ነው፤ 

ስለዚህ እኛ የዚህን መጽሐፍ ትክክለኛ ትርጉም ከምንጩ ለማወቅ በመንፈስ አነሣሽነት ተነሣሳን፤ ምንጩ የመጀመሪያ ኦርጅናሉ ደግሞ የተጻፈው በግእዝ ቋንቋ ስለሆነ የግእዝን ቋንቋ ለማወቅ ፍላጎቱ ያደረብኝ ምክንያት ይህ ነው።

በነገራችን ላይ አራት የተለያዩ ትርጉሞች ወይም አራት የተለያዩ በዕጅ የተጻፉ የእጅ ጽሁፍ ቅጅዎች አሉን፤ ስለዚህ በመንፈስ ቅዱስ የተነሳሳንበት ምክንያት በነዚህ ቅጅዎች ውስጥ ፊደልን ከፊደል፤ ቃልን ከቃል፤ ጋር በማነጻጸር ሰዎች በዘመናት ሂደት (ብዛት) የሚፈልጉትን ቃል ሁሉ ለመጨመርም ሆነ ለመቀነስ እንዴት ዕድል እንዳገኙ ለማየት ወይም ለመመርመር በመሻት ነው፡፡

አንዳንዶቹ ጽሁፎች በ13ኛው መቶ ክፍለዘመን (ቅድመ ክርስቶስ ማለት ነው) የነበሩ ናቸው፤ ይህ ማለት በጣም በጣም ብዙ ብዙ ስለሆኑ ዘመናት ነው እያወራን ያለነው። ይህ ማለት ደግሞ እግዚአብሔር በመልአኩ በቅዱስ ኡራኤል አማካኝነት ለነቢዩ ሄኖክ በሰጠው ቃል ላይ ሰዎች የፈለጉትን ቃል ለመጨመር፤ለመቀነስ፤ ብሎም ለመደምሰስ የረጅም ጊዜ ዕድል ነበራቸው ማለት ነው፡፡

እኛ ደግሞ ነቢዩ ሄኖክ ለልጅ ልጁ ለኖህ ይህንን መጽሐፉን እንደሰጠው እናውቃለን፤ ኖህም ይህንን መጽሐፍ ከጥፋት ውኃ በፊትና በኋላም ይዞት ቆይቷል፤ ቆይቶም የልጅ ልጆቹ በተለይም አብርሃም ወደሱ መጥቶ ከኖኅ ጋር አብሮ እየኖረ ይህንን መጽሐፍ መጽሐፈ ሄኖክን አጠና፤ የግእዝን ቋንቋም ተማረ፤  መጽሐፉን በግእዝ ማንበብ ቻለ፤

ብሎም በአካባቢው ካሉት ሰዎች ጋር በግእዝ ቋንቋ መነጋገር ወይም መግባባት ቻለ፤ በሙት ባሕር ከተገኙት ጥቅልሎች ወይም ቅጅዎች በኋላ አብርሃም ወደ ግብፅ በወረደ ጊዜ መጽሐፈ ሄኖክን ለግብጻውያን በግእዝ ቋንቋ ያነብላቸው ነበር፤ በዚህም ምክንያት ሞገስን አግኝቶበታል፤ መጽሐፈ ሄኖክን ያነበበላቸው በግእዝ ቋንቋ እንደነበርም አምናለሁ።

ኢትዮጵያውያንም በዚህ መጽሐፍ ወይም በቅዱሳት መጻሕፍት ውስጥ ሰዎችን በማሳመን ማርከውበታል፤አሳምነዋል።

ነቢዩ ሙሴም እንደዚሁ ኢትዮጵያዊቷን አግብቶ ስለ ነበር በዚያን ጊዜ ምናልባትም የግእዝን ቋንቋ ይናገር ነበር ማለት ይቻላል።

ስለዚህ ግእዝ ጥንታዊና የታሪክ ባለጸጋ የሆነ ቋንቋ ነው፤

መጽሐፈ ሄኖክ ይልቁንም ለኛ የተጻፈ ነው፤ ለዚህም ነው ኦርጅናሉን ወይም ምንጩን በግእዝ ቋንቋ የተጻፈውን መረጃ ወይም ጽሁፍ አግኝተን ትክክለኛውን ቃል በተገቢው መንገድ ማቅረባችን ተፍላጊ የሆነበት ምክንያት።”
